Electrical Engineering application?We Answered:
They appear to be looking for three things:1. You can write clearly and communicate well.
2. A cooperative attitude. (They know what you gain. What do you offer?)
3. Some personal revelation, (Be sure your 'barriers or hardships' discussions don't reveal the wrong attitude.)

Essay theme regarding "Macbeth" and "Frankenstein"?We Answered:
Wow... what an odd essay topic to use for Frankenstein. I wouldn't at all categorize anything in Frankenstein as a power struggle. It's really much more about man playing god and people (as in the monster) trying to fit into a society in which they don't belong. And Victor isn't power-hungry, either... he's just a careless jerk.Perhaps you can view Victor's blind desire for endless knowledge as a search for power over nature. I suppose that would work. And Macbeth is a no-brainer for this essay, so I don't really need to go into that. Seriously weird prompt, though -- not at all something I would have written. =/

I need to write a response & a prompt to a quote given?We Answered:
Question could be- Is success measured by the actions taken to reach it, or by the simple pleasures missed to achieve it?You could look at sports people (swimmers) who start practice at 3am and back again after school till late. and compare that they gave up a few afternoons at the coffee shop to suceed in going to the olympics or even winning a medal. Start with the quote given and then put your question and go from there. you could focus on a great athlete, explorer eg Hilary. The guy who cut his own arm off to save himself when trapped by a boulder. The people on 9/11 who gave up their lives and were succesful on saving thousands.. His success is that he lived at the expense of his arm and went on to use this experience in giving motivational talks.

can someone score my essay? We Answered:
Alright, let's get started. First of all, the fact that you spent more time jotting down notes than actually writing is EXCELLENT! You are doing the right thing but it is what you jot down and how you jot it down that matters...not what you write. The subject that is given to you is very adverse and provides LOTS of opportunities to expand. The thing about good powerful essays is that it should be about something that you believe in firmly. To prove that you strongly believe in it is what gives you the points.
From the very first line, i spotted an error; there should be a comma between student and I. It really helps if you sit back and read what you write. Better yet, before you even begin to write, say the sentence in your head and ONLY if it makes complete sense to you, then write it down.
Now you tell me, what would be a better word than "difficulties"? Read it out, "the difficulties of having to abide by a dress code". Is it difficult? No of course not? Is it hard, painstaking, a strenuous tast...YES! See, what I learned from writing is that the best way to reach out to the reader is the SHOW him how deeply you feel about this. And by SHOW, i mean literally SHOW. Use words that would actually create images in his head. If I tell you "I'm hungry", you're gonna be like yeah whatever. If I tell you "I'm so hungry I could gulp down an elephant", you are now thinking about me trying to fit an elephant in me. Use descriptive fitting words.
Avoid using "and that" just use and. I like the way that you ended the first paragraph with what you believe in. Now it's time for you to prove it. Let's move on..ok...no. Sorry, just a reminder, please do not take any of my advice harshly, I am trying to bring the best out of you. Read the first sentence to yourself: express ourselves through style? THat is SO vague!! What is style? What does style even mean? You cannot simply state something vague and leave it like that. Tell me what that means. You know what would be better? Just cut out the "through style". Now read it to yourself.
Second sentence of second paragraph. Ok im gonna stop right here cuz I gotta run soon. Im reading through this and this sounds like a VERY informal essay. It sounds like you are talking to a friend. You have stated facts without backing them up. How do you know that the school administration wants you to express yourself. Do they say that in their pamphlet?
Tell you what, give me a shout at Lpsaad@gmail.com and I will further help you with this. Hope this turns out to be the best answer :-). Cheers!
