What did you write for your UC personal statement?We Answered:
I got into every single UC I applied to and a handful of ivy's and all I did was be myself. However I did not write in an overly humorous manner either. I wasn't overly descriptive and didn't use tons of metaphors and figurative language. I just got straight to the point. Think of it this way, if you are the admissions people who have to read through thousands of these essays wouldn't you want to read an essay that didnt have a bunch of cliche' fluff?
