I don't think she's cheating, but I definitely think she's "fishing." It seems she's just holding onto you until something better comes along. This goes along the lines of "using" you, which is what she is probably doing. It sounds like she likes the idea of having a boyfriend and being someones girlfriend, but she's not too thrilled with you personally.

Tell her you think you're better off as friends. Step outside of your box and I will put money on some cutie in your circle that has had her eye on you...and you of course never noticed. Find out who she is...hook-up with her and watch your current "girlfriend" burn green with jealousy.
