Writing Prompts For Persuasive Essays

Leroy Said:

For in much wisdom is much grief and increase of knowledge is increase of sorrow?

We Answered:

Knowledge could be divided in two:
mundane knowledge and knowledge about the goal of life.

A person who has developed knowledge about the goal of life has attained wisdom. Such a person, having attained wisdom, can see that the majority of people, not knowing the goal of life, are misled and go astray. He can also see what he did not attain yet. Seeing all this, causes him to grief.

Another person, having developed a lot of material knowledge without wisdom, is simply entangling himself further in the complexities of life because his knowledge has no solid foundation, as healthy discrimination and logic are born from wisdom. The more he knows, the more he becomes bewildered. The increase of such knowledge becomes the source of sorrow.
