reseach schools that has your major you want to study, or the location (in or out of state). make sure you have all the classes correct classes you need to go to a four year.

I just got done serving in the Army. EVERYONE in my unit knew about my orientation. They didn't care. We didn't exactly talk about it like straight couples would talk about their spouses but I didn't hide it and it didn't affect my service whatsoever. Everyone that worked with me actually looked out for my welfare, not because I'm gay but because they knew I would take a bullet for them. They all knew I wasn't there to check out girls in the shower (which I never did). I was there to do a job and be the best I could be at making sure everyone kept the freedoms they have. Even those jackasses that think gays aren't worthy of dying for this country.

I think it would be great if he got rid of that stupid 'law' but MOST commanders don't care who you shack up with as long as you do your job.
