Hi. Writers block affects us all at one time or another.One method of overcoming it that I have found effective is to stop writing for a while.
Read other books, do household chores. Your book will ferment in the back of your brain (hopefully).
Another weapon is to make a diagrammatic representation of your story. Then think laterally. Read newspapers as triggers. Write a list of trigger words and see if you can find your way from there.
