Christina Said:
"To Kill a Mockingbird" essay help?We Answered:
Harper poses an unformed question on racism. She sparks thought on the issues of race, discrimination and equality. She does not say flat out "this is wrong". Rather she asks the question "is it wrong".Janice Said:
I need help. i am writing an essay for english on To Kill a Mockingbird and could use some opinions.?We Answered:
You should never use first person in an essay, unless the teacher says otherwise. I think it would be a lot easier to answer you're question if we knew what the topic is about.Instead of using "me" you could just say "the reader."
I don't know what kind of essay format you're teacher has given you, but you could possibly use this:
This is only one method of organizing an essay.
Introductory paragraph
A. Catches the reader's interest
B. Gives brief background on your topic
C. Begins or ends with the thesis statement
Body (paragraphs 2, 3, etc.)
A. Develops, expands, and/or supports the thesis statement
B. Includes a topic sentence for each paragraph
C. Includes supporting details which reinforce the topic sentence.
Concluding paragraph
A. Restates the thesis or sums up the argument.
B. Tells the reader what you think is important to remember. (Often, this is a personal response).
C. Never introduce new information in the conclusion. Extend your thinking on something from the essay.

It depends on your opinion. Do you think Atticus is a hero?I don't want to be doing your homework for you, but I'll try and help.
Discuss these key points
-Intro: State your opinion
-Concrete detail : What is needed in a hero? What qualities must someone have to be considered a hero? Why?
-Reasons in why you feel that Atticus is or is not a hero. What has he done or not done?
-What could he have done to improve, if you don't consider him a hero?
-State facts, examples: Give examples such as Quotes from the book, showing how Atticus was a hero and what he did or said in order to portray his character.
Hope I helped.

Chad Said:
How does Scout, a representation of a child, shape To Kill a Mockingbird as a whole work?We Answered:
She wasn't fully aware of the racism between the whites and black which is why she did not understand the attitudes toward Calpurnia bringing her and Jem to her church or the trial of Tom.She did not pay attention to the Great Depression and she wasn't not overly aware of why people hated Boo Radley, aside from the myths surronding him.
If she had been aware of these, she would be less naive and more focused on "I shouldn't be with the blacks, most people think that is bad socializing." She would be more like her aunt and would not have the views of a younger girl.
