Scary Writing Prompts
Jackie Said:
I need help with an essay about "The Birds" by: DuMaurier? We Answered:
That's the problem with kids today: after Saw and Hostel, nothing short of the threat of immediate decapitation scares them.If you can imagine what reading The Birds would be like withOUT having seen the kinds of horror movies and even TV shows that are out these days, the "terror and suspense"-filled sections may stand out better for you.
All I know about the book is that Hitchcock filmed it in '65. Good movie, though not scary if you're under 45 or so.
Good luck!

Ronnie Said:
What do you think of this poem? Honest critiques please.?We Answered:
I don't like "dark" poems like that, but your poem is written amazingly. You made almost every line rhyme and it flows great.
I love how its written, I'm just sorry to say that it wasn't about a subject I can relate to.

I Need Some Prompts, Please!?We Answered:
Find an article that interests you from the media whether it be from a news website, a magazine you read, just pick a story that strikes you. Put those characters in it - add some twists and turns - make it fictional - make it your own. Good luck.Philip Said:
JEEZE! CAN SOMEONE GIVE ME A GOOD ANSWER? NONE OF THEM ARE DOING IT FOR ME...?We Answered:
Hi :)Erm, Erm, Erm.
Im not too good with making up ideas for stories, but you could do something like:
A person who haunts your dreams, and the more you start believing in them, the more real they become, but once they come into the real world, they get stuck, and they kill everyone, blah blah.
I know that was really bad, but you could change some of it and adapt it. It was worth a try at least.
Hope this helped! x
EDIT:
OMGIM SO SORRY, I COMPLETELY FORGOT ABOUT NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET! so i guess you cant use this idea casue it would be plagairsm. Thanks to the guy up there who pointed this out :) x

Windows XP. Start up problems.?We Answered:
The best thing to do is to get your friend to find you the Windows XP disk. If that's not an available option, the second best idea would be to use another friend's XP disk. Third option is to create a Windows XP boot disk to use in fixing your computer. You can do this from any computer that has Windows XP and will work on any other computer that has XP.This is a pretty good article:
http://www.windowsnetworking.com/article…
If you use the third option, once you've successfully booted into Windows using any of the 5 options, click on Start, then Run, then type in: sfc /scannow
That checks for any corrupted Windows files and will fix them for you. It may take a while depending on your setup. It may also ask you for a Windows XP disk. If this happens, then you may need to use option 4 which is a last resort. Torrent a copy of Windows XP only for the purpose of repairing your legal, un-pirated copy currently on your computer. (You may also need to do this if sfc /scannow and the following are both unsuccessful.)
Before you download, though, you can also try clicking on Start, then All Programs, then accessories, then right-click on the command prompt. At the prompt, type in: chkdsk /f
This will scan your hard drive for errors and attempt to repair any bad or corrupted sectors.
