Ready Writing Prompts

Sergio Said:

Life valued through character?

We Answered:

First, the value of a person's life is determined by the life's wielder. If a man is a mechanic and hates his job, goes home, and watches NASCAR until bed, he's probably not holding his life in a very awesome value. If he loves being a mechanic, has a wife at home, kids, or just REALLY loves NASCAR, his life is valuable.

That being said, I don't believe you can assign value to human life. It is one of the few things in humanity that is beyond our comprehension. If I ask you to define a life, you probably wouldn't be able to come up with a great definition. And if you do, it would not encompass what all of life is.

Fantasy football problem: details follow. Why was I not clearly told and prompted about 'draft ready status?'

We Answered:

Well, it takes like 24 hours to set the draft after you change your team to "ready to draft".

It tells you that when you join an auto-pick league.

I commission leagues every year, trust me.. live draft from now on. It's worth your time.

How long does prompt 2 of the college personal statement have to be?

We Answered:

Both the essays have to add up to 1000 words. So if the first prompt is 500 words the second one can be 500 as well. If you go a little over, say, 1012 words, its ok. Just make the second prompt OVER 250 WORDS.

English!! Please help with this...READY and get 10 points for good answer. POEM?

We Answered:

I doubt there are many poems written on this unpoetic subject. I would advise you to look for three or four good quotations by googling something like "quotations education" or "quotations cyberspace." Here's one to get you started:

"The illiterate of the 21st century will not be those who cannot read and write, but those who cannot learn, unlearn, and relearn." ~Alvin Toffler
