Who are the man and the woman? Why did they agree to meet? What has the man just said? What is the woman thinking? And who is that in the mirror's reflection wearing the hat? Why is he eavesdropping?

As partial as I am to the misspelled "tyre" prompt...

Pick something really specific. The more specific the better. The more specific the prompt the more controlled your writing is going to have to be earlier on (it's kind of like holding the pencil really close to the tip versus closer to the eraser).

I would personally go with "the darkest color of jeans" or "lifting chairs" or "making tea with three people in the room."

But that's me.
