Quick Write Prompts

Joshua Said:

I read "The Hunchback of Notre Dame" and "Rebecca," now I need to write my own essay question

We Answered:

They're both love stories, but of a different nature. Perhaps you can compare/contrast the two countries, time periods, and the kinds of love in both. Selfless, like Quasimodo, or selfish like Rebecca, for instance. There's sexual obsession in both novels and you could mention that.
Another contrast is that most of the story in Rebecca takes place in Manderley, a rather isolated place, while The Hunchback takes place in the middle of city life.
Another contrast is the two evil characters: Mrs. Danvers and the Captain.
You could also compare the authors and their styles. The fact that one is male and the other female may be a start. Is there a female sensitivity or perspective or rather, as Nadine Gordimer once said: "writers have no gender"?
Hope this helps.

Can someone help me with this World History question? Quick please!?

We Answered:

well its saying that anyone who doesn't know about the mistakes of history will make the same mistakes due to lack of knowledge. Everyone needs to know the mistakes that history made so that they are not repeated, and so the world can be corrected and learn from their mistakes. If humans were not aware of said mistakes, then we would have the same problems over and over again, and couldn't control it because we did not know we had made these mistakes before.

Can someone help me write this quick java program?

We Answered:

I won't write the code for you, but I can give you some pseudocode to build on.

// delcare and set char "number" to c

while (number is not equal to a && number is not equal to b)
{
//input "number"
}

double randomNumber = Math.random();
randomNumber = (randomNumber * 100)%2; //To get it to be 1 or 2

int number2;

if (number == a)
number2 = 1

if (number == b)
number2 = 2

if (number2 == randomNumber)
//display winning message
else
//display losing message
