can anyone give me tips for passing the writing prompts in WEST-B exam?We Answered:
I've never heard of that particular exam, but after having graded lots of timed writings, these hints are helpful for most:1. Have a clear thesis and structure.
2. Have neat handwriting (I'm serious!)
3. Review for simple stupid mistakes. (Homonyms, easy spelling errors.)
4. NEVER start with "Hi, my name is."
5. Be specific in your discussion of the prompt. Don't use the words "many, things, a lot, people, some," etc. At least don't use them more than once.
