Narrative Writing Prompt
Ernest Said:
Who should I write my biographical essay about? We Answered:
Everyone is part of history.. so you're free to write about whomever you please.Tracey Said:
Can anyone help me write a good narrative? We Answered:
Narrative writing tells a story. It' like telling a story to someone, the way you do every day in casual conversation. Use the first person in writing. If you have time, try to tape record your story before turning it into an essay. Include details to keep your reader interested. Get the basic story down, get it organized, and in your final editing process, use a great vocabulary. With regards to: "We are left to our fate in life." It simply means that we are the ones who mould our own destiny and future. To be successful in life, we need to set goals and do our best to achieve them. But most people who fail in life always attribute their failure as their fate. Can you relate a personal experience that has something to do with this concept? If you can, go get your tape recorder and start talking.
Have fun!

Can someone help me respond to this narrative prompt pleaseee? We Answered:
I don't see where this is rocket science. Write about a time you "learned" something through making a mistake.Have you ever bought a widget or gadget thinking it was going to solve a problem and it didn't after wasting a lot of time and money believing it would?
Have you ever taken a course of action or made a decision that resulted in something you had no idea in the beginning was going to be bad?
It's all about learning from mistakes and how not to make the same ones over and over again. You can look at it from a severe point of view where maybe someone is driving under the influence (bad decision) gets caught (bad outcome) then has to pay fines and lose their license and hopefully they learned not to do it again or at least they learned the outcome would be worse the second time. Maybe think back to to a time when you wanted to do something and maybe then your parents or friends might have told you that was a really bad idea and you did it anyway and of course their premonitions for your intended actions turned out the way they told you it would. One made a decision, two, we failed to heed the warnings, three we did it anyway, and four it turned out bad and five we learned not to do it again as you learned something from the experience. A lot of ideas you can use. You decided on a course of action and it turned out bad and you learned not to try that again and put down how you felt about it beforehand and how you thought about it after wards and what you learned from the experience.

i have this prompt for a narrative i have to write. i write good essays, but i lack in imagination. any ideas? We Answered:
Make a list of problems we are facing in the world. Then once you choose one make up a character....then just well it's complicated. After you do all this you have to is embellish. Maybe fabricate your life so you can be the hero.Crystal Said:
