Letter Writing Prompts

Jose Said:

Classical Music and Writing Prompts?

We Answered:

On y-tube:

Leo Ornstein: Quintet, or Piano Quintet

Bach: Italian Concerto, adagio (middle movement) Sviatislav Richter, Piano.

John Adams: (Dharma at Big Sur) the composer talks a bit - music starts about half-way through.

Prokofiev, any piano sonata, any movement available.

This prompts have to come from you. That is the idea of it.

How do I create letter columns in c++?

We Answered:

You don't need to declare 15 variables. Just use a single char variable to hold the initial character to be displayed ( 'A' ) and increment the variable for 15 times to get all the 15 letters. It is fine to increment the variable since characters are stored in ASCII format hence incrementing the variable gives us the very next ASCII character.

#include <iostream.h>

main( )
{
char ch = 'A';
int n, counter = 1;

cout << endl << "Enter the number of columns ( between 1 - 7 ): ";
cin >> n;
while( ch != 'A' + 15 ) //--or---- while( ch != 'o' ) works //since 'o' is the 15th letter
{
if( counter++ <= n )
cout << ch++;
else
{
cout << endl;
counter = 1;
}
}

return 0;
}

Best wishes!

If you believed in a convicted murderer's innocence or just found them interesting would you consider writing?

We Answered:

It's a responsibility.
The persecuted go through a living hell on earth, the wrongfully accussed have it worse.

one more note: there is alot of information to research on this issue before you enter a different culture.

what is the basic argument of Paul letter to galatians?

We Answered:

there were exuberant bands of people who were travelling all over the land converting people at the time. they were teaching a sort of gnosticism that taught that it was important to keep the whole jewish law, but they also combined it with the mystical hedonism that was popular in those days. they were looking for quick results, and not spending time making sure people really understood how to set up a church, either. basically, they were just riding around collecting foreskins as proof of their own good works and telling gentiles to keep the law. Paul was really mad about that. the Galatian church was influenced by these people, so they were departing from the teachings of Christ and the purpose of Christianity a lot. Also, the local jews were ostracizing any of them who still had their penis tips, and wouldn't eat with them or worship with them, but they were also ostracized from the local pagan scene too, so they were cutting off their own penis tips and finding themselves social outcasts without really knowing how to build a church properly. it was kinda sad, really. Paul wanted to correct all these errors and that's a big part of what made him write the letter to the Galatians.

How to make a good thesis for my essay on the novel Scarlet Letter?

We Answered:

well... the obvious choice would be hester. perhaps the priest would be interesting? oh well... hester's the best bet.

ok...u want to have an interesting introduction...

but ur main thesis should point out the body in which ur essay will be addressing.

Introduction: Puritans constituted a distinct social group within the Church of England who regarded themselves as the godly, and who held out little hope for their neighbours who remained attached to "popish superstitions" and worldliness (wikipedia.. u may want to change it to ur own words, etc). Hester Prynne was pressed against the high, unattainable standards that puritan society infringed on her. She was affected, and branded as a sinner, by being forced to wear a scarlett A, being shunned by neighbors, and (something else).

then in ur body, each paragraph should explain each topic; being forced to wear the A, being shunned by neighbors (give examples), and the last one u can think of.

good luck!
