Junior High Writing Prompts
Judith Said:
Writing muses, inspiration and plots? We Answered:
I have to admit, I have ideas flowing so quickly I thus far cannot fathom not having an idea. At any one time I have up to eighteen works in progress, then I have another 8 to ten documents that I'm just playing around with. Challenges I was tinkering around with, concepts I wanted to try and other projects my hand was itching to get on.--- As for my inspiration it usually comes from reading a book that isn't particularly well written or one that is exceptionally well done. I read a book and decide that story sucks but then an idea will take root on how to improve it and make it my own. If it is done well then I challenge myself to be creative as well as working on being better. I play around with voice, style, setting, and maybe even create a character for myself where none belonged. It isn't fan fiction only because ultimately my work grows outside of itself very quickly. A character and notion start and the next thing I know I'm researching, writing, and talking to myself as if the characters are alive.
--- Also when life sucks I can write something and make it better, I can have the love affair I've always wanted, I can have seventeen kids, adopted children or none at all. I can be trim like a model or built like a football player, I can be the fly on the wall or the super hero, I get to be a doctor, lawyer, police man, stay at home mom, porn star, drug dealer or a Succubus, an angel a demon etc...

i have problems with understanding all types of directions and questions. junior high school? We Answered:
Well if your in Jr. High, I'd just say hang in there... Jr, High just pretty much sucks for everyone... I know it did for me.Anyhow, I'd probably try to read and write more. I don't think it really would matter what you read or what you wrote, just try it, and then go back later to what you wrote and see if it's conclusive and coherent. The teacher just might have trouble making sense out of what your writing.
The other possibility is that you have a bad teacher. It happens from time to time, if your still in Jr. high don't fret, failing a test is not going to ruin your entire chances for happiness and good living. In fact no test is so important that you make yourself depressed. Just treat the situation with respect and do your best.
