Journal writing !! ...................?We Answered:
Many people write in their own personal journals - kind of like a diary or an outpouring of their thoughts and feelings. But to write a "journal" on the topic you mention makes no sense to me. It's not an essay or an article that your teaching is asking for? Can you get clarification from him or her?

What are some good journal topics for my English 102?We Answered:
Looks like a good list to start, and I like one of the other answerer's suggestions. Here are a few others:-Period of history to visit if time travel were a possibility
-Given your beliefs about the contribution of carbon emissions to global warming, is it ethical to travel by plan on vacation?
-Are horses a viable means of transportation in the modern world? (This might be interesting given your interest in horses)
-What talent that you don't have would you most like to have?
-How would you feel about appearing on a reality TV show if it meant the world would see your worst side?
You haven't provided any other guidance about your assignment, so I only have one more recommendation, and that is to ensure you have diversity of topics so that you can show your professor/TA a range of writing styles/points of view. Right now, your list of topics are of the "What I think" variety. While there's nothing wrong with this, your teacher might appreciate a more varied response from his students, so might be interesting to include different points of view. Perhaps you could tweak your current list of topics so that you can express some different lines of thinking. For instance, you could write about:
-What my father (or some other person in your life) thinks about students taking courses unrelated to their majors
-How to approach to problem of animal neglect when the definition/perception of animal rights is so different across cultures (i.e. some people don't consider dog racing, cock fighting, etc. to be abusive or neglectful)
-etc.

Anyone have any suggestions of questions/topics for preschool journal writing? We Answered:
Your child can draw or write in his personal journal within the Writing Center every day. Each day, the teacher introduces a new journaling topic, such as 'Who is your favorite artist?' The children can journal about the topic, or anything else on their minds. By the time children reach preschool, they are beginning to journal on more topics than they did in early preschool. You'll be amazed at how your child's drawings change from the beginning to the end of the school year, as he begins to learn how to communicate through print. Through journaling, your child is working on important learning objectives, such as:*printing the letters within his name
*drawing pictures with five to six varying details
*suggesting ideas for creative interpretation
*dictating writing to express thoughts
The teachers label and date the journal entries based on what your child said about his drawing - this way both the teacher and you know what your child's intentions were. You are welcome to look through your preschooler's journal as often as you like. Your preschool teacher will take you through the journal during your semi-annual parent-teacher conferences.
