Fifth Grade Writing Prompts

Jordan Said:

GOT REJECTED FROM EVERY COLLEGE I APPLIED TO, IS IT CAUSE OF MY ESSAY?

We Answered:

You have asked this question numerous times, changing the essay a few times - STOP.
You just want someone to look at your essay and see if it's good. Your essays aren't even essays, they're just a few paragraphs. Learn what an essay is and how to write. Then, maybe you'll get into a college.

Grade this SAT I Essay Please?

We Answered:

10
very good the
the sat essay is graded by 2 different people each out of 6 points then added
your essay contained al of the needed components such as a intro a thesis, multable body paragraphs proving the point and a conclusion wraping it all together. adding more facts such as dates and names would earn you those last two points.
dont stress out too much on the essay, lots of colleges have not used the essay to judge your sat score, its pretty new.

THIS IS MY COLLEGE APPLICATION ESSAY, IS IT READY TO BE SENT TO COLLEGES?

We Answered:

Erm, not bad but maybe split it into more paragraphs. I'm sure you'll do well in wherever you go. Good luck.

Carrie Said:

college application essay?

We Answered:

While your selected topics are good, what most colleges want to see is an event or experience that changed you for the better. Most kids are selfish and egocentric. What they're looking for is character and integrity.

I GOT REJECTED FROM EVERY COLLEGE I APPLIED TO, IS IT CAUSE OF MY ESSAY?

We Answered:

Is this for real?

You might want to consider getting your Direct Transfer Associates Degree at a community college if your grades from high school are really low. Do better this time, and don't sound so arrogant and self-worshiping in your essay, and you'll probably be fine.

[Edit] Talk is cheap. Scores and grades are what matters.

[Edit 2] If this was real, I would certainly not be "excited to meet you."

Natalie Said:

i need a few more answers to this question....?

We Answered:

Personally I would probably pick the first topic you listed. The essay prompt doesn't say that it has to be scholastically related. Even though you say it was a fun experience, I'm sure there was a feeling of accomplishment after hiking 65 miles. If there is nothing else that this event taught you (shaped you as a person, why it makes you proud, etc) then you can't answer the second half of the prompt and might have to go with the football topic.

But, I'm sure you can round out the hiking story to encompass all aspects of the prompt.

Good Luck!
