When using a graded essay for a college application, do I turn in the actual paper that has the grade on it?

We Answered:

You can send in a paper you have already written. But re type it. You do not send in a paper with a grade on it to a college.

Your college essay is a time to give the college more info on you than what they can see from your transcripts. It should be personal. Some things my kids and their friends wrote about
having asthma
having an autistic brother
travels out side of the US
coming from a bilingual family
being a peer tutor
being on the tennis team and academics

What are some college Application essay prompts that are easy?

We Answered:

basically it's going to boil down to something along the lines of "Tell us a story about you".

They may wrap it in the form of "write a note to your roommate" or something else like that, but it's just going to be a personal story.

You want to focus on something or an event that really shows who you are, or how you think, or how you've grown, but it's going to be open ended.
