Elementary Writing Prompts
Charlene Said:
I hate writing. Do you know of any websites to help?We Answered:
I would have to say try looking for forums where you engage in creative writing, or RPG (Role-Playing Game) sites. Look for a topic you're interested in and try it out. This has helped me quite a bit with both vocabulary, structure, and the lengths of my writings.Something else you may want to try is creative writing in general. Grab a pad of paper, and start by writing about your day, or maybe a hobby or vacation you enjoyed. Or, you could jot down ideas for a story or character, and try to start a story, or have your character do something. You don't need to have a plot, you can just have him or her go about their day, or find a new world, or maybe go through something traumatic.

Help with my time capsule..... ?We Answered:
It is important to write whatever you want. Write as your normal self. you don't want to deceive yourself in the future by writing down stuff that does not reflect you. Chances are, if you write down what you truly want to write, you will be interested to read it in the future. Don't write like how you would write a paper for school. Don't write like how you talk either. Write how you THINK. Like the thoughts in your head.Just some things you want to include:
-Height, Weight & Shoe Size: I wrote these in my own letter before just to see if I had grew any. It is just something really quick to write about. It might seem weird to do this, but I was interested to know if any of these had changed being the experimentalist I am.
-Current problems that you might remember in the future: I wrote about some problems I had, and asked myself "How did I fix these?" at the end of the paragraph. The point of this was to make myself think (when I read it) of how I fixed it in the past, and how I really can solve some problems had seemed difficult in the past. When I wrote it, I was hoping it would encourage me to think that I could solve some current situations I had while reading it a few years later.
-Favorite things like food or music or anything: I remember writing about my favorite music. It was interesting how when I read it a few years later, a lot of my favorite music had changed. I said to myself "I cannot believe I liked them that much!" Some of them, had not changed at all. And I was happy for those. ?
-Write about your family: Write about how much you love your family, even if you are not getting along quite well at the current time. You know that you love them. Let yourself know a few years from now your feelings about your family. You might really value it in the future ???
