Since Ashland is across the state, try the Writer's Dojo, also hook up with the Oregon Poetry Association, and don't forget the libraries, they often have workshops. The Sunday Oregonian often has lists of literary events; the Oregon/Washington Poets Picnic is this weekend.

Check out the links below and follow links, also look at Portland State's website and e-mail some of the poets in Portland, they'll hook you up.

Hi Iris! The Ateneo National Writers' Workshop is usually held on October every year in Novaliches, but the August deadline for submissions is already up. The UP workshop is up in Baguio. There may be more, but you'll have to do some research on that.

I've been to the Dumaguete National Writers' Workshop, and it's something I'll be grateful to for the rest of my writing career. It's in ****** Oriental though, so if you're certain you can only go to Metro Manila workshops, that kills it for that. It's held in the summer, with board and lodging and partial plane fare. On the off chance you think you can make it, go submit. If you pass, and choose go, I promise on record that you won't regret it :)
