Well say you wanted to talk about a mysterious student who doesn't talk much but whom you find very interesting and wanted to get to know them. You could start with something along the lines of:

"He walked into the classroom. His dark hair covered his eyes in a way that made him look mysterious. For his first day at school, he didn't seem nervous at all. He looked like someone I'd like to talk to. His smile was inviting and friendly, though he didn't show it often enough. I was very interested in his past. It seemed like he was hiding something."

And then you could go on to write about interesting things that may have happened in his life. Maybe there was a tragedy in his life, or maybe he came from a different country. Anything that will keep your readers captivated. If you'd like more help, feel free to email me.

idk it would depend alot about your own opinion, i would personally do something about music, because music has really shaped my life. think of something that has shaped your life directly. if you like music a lot i think that would be a good one to do, apply it to life in general as well as college.
