creative writing prompt...?We Answered:
How about earning $100 to write the best chapter that continues this story: http://storymash.com/u/ireland_faerie/ra…Regina Said:
WRITERS BLOCK :( Help me start a short creative writing prompt?! Any ideas? We Answered:
Maybe she is happy he had a heart attack? Maybe she knew he had high cholesterol but continued to feed him extra fatty bacon so his arteries would become more clogged up? Maybe she took out a higher life insurance premium or whatever on him before he died and she's thinking about how to spend the extra money now that he's gone? Maybe she and her boyfriend are going to buy some place in Hawaii and she's just wondering if the baby belongs to the boyfriend or the husband? You should get really creative and consider writing something scandalous. Having her smile on her way home would be one small thing that would be odd, since her husband just died and it's all rainy outside. Idk, those ideas might still be generic. Haha, good luck!

HELP for setting up a character/situation/ scandalous ideas for my creative writing prompt?!?We Answered:
You could put this into it:Death... so this was what it was? A dreary confusion of fog, spinning in slow, endless circles. My mind was heavy, so heavy it threatened to crash down on her grieved body and shatter it. Perhaps that wasn't so bad.
"Death..." I whispered, my breath freezing in the frosty air. "Death..."
Was death as simple as that? It had seemed so far away, yet this tragedy had sent it spiraling down to earth. I hardly noticed the scene around me; the screeching of cars; the pattering of rain hard on the sidewalk; by own heavy breath. It was all me, trapped inside my own mind - and death? It lurked in every shadow, under every thought, as if waiting for the chance to leap out at me - and strike! Had that been what had happened to my husband? I couldn't be sure.
Coldness whispered in my ear. I could feel it as if it were standing right next to me. I turned onto the next street - and looked into its sunken, staring eyes. I whimpered.
I could feel my husband's eyes on me. You're deranged, he hissed. You're going mad.
I looked up. How strange it was, to see the city, with its murky streets and darkened houses, rather than the spiritual darkness i expected. What was wrong with me? You're going mad. You're going mad.
"Stop it!" I shrieked. The man walking on the other side of the road stopped. So did a car. I could hear what they were saying. You're going mad. You're going mad.
Shivering, I stumbled into the gates of my shadowed home.
