You could set your creative tale 16/+ years later, when their child is old enough to react against the Big Brother, maybe together with other guys. It could be interesting to see how they try to do it. Actually I'm thinking of a outlaw gang trying to overthrow Big Brother. Then you could imagine this gang didn't succeed, so a journalist writes an article describing what they did, their story and so on...
