Any Creative Ideas (short journal)?

We Answered:

Like your teacher, I find it hard to believe you've never confided in a stranger. Something as simple as telling the cashier at a store that you're having a bad day is "confiding in a stranger". Sitting next to the new kid at school. Making new friends on the first day of school.

We all confide in strangers when we first meet anyone. So unless you've never met someone, you have definitly opened up to a few strangers.

Here are a few that I hope could be thought provoking.

Who would I like to meet and have lunch with?

Which performer do I really admire, and why?

Which actress -- who no longer is making movies -- do you most admire?

Do movies affect society's values, or do they reflect those values?

Lots more youngsters have videocameras than ever before - how will that affect moviemaking?

What motivates people to go into performing, and what motivates you?

Why are people fascinated with the problems that celebrities have? Is it because the media focuses on it, or does the media focus on it because people want to know about it?

Why are so many celebrities so self-destructive?

What effect will YouTube have on the movie industry?

Do celebrities marry and divorce for love or is choreographed to keep public attention focused on them?

What is it about being an actor/actress that makes it a difficult profession?

Let's say that 90% of the people who get into performing are super talented, then what kinds of things can one do to be in the 1% that are successful? Or is it just a lucky break?

If you couldn't be an actress, how would you be able to use your gifts in other professions?

What actress do you feel that you have the most in common with?

Would you rather be a known as a great actress -- but mostly be in art movies, or would you rather be known as one of the worst actresses ever but who is in lots of successful movies just because of your looks?

Discuss It!
