Creating Writing Prompts
Adrian Said:
Have you ever created a writing prompt? We Answered:
They can be anything....- A little boy walks into a store to buy a piece of candy after finding money on the street. As he passed through the doors a pair of hands grabbed him and flung him backwards.
Now write a short story
(If you thumbs-downed, do you mean a writing prompt? Because that is what I just gave you.... you may be thinking of something else entirely...)
Carlos Said:
Who makes the prompts we use for state testing? We Answered:
The person who put the hand up first.Seriously, this is how it works at universities the world over.
Someone who has got to the top of the tree with writing research papers for countless publications and decided to push forward a certain standard which is backed up by fellows of the allumni.

Christmas Writing Prompts?We Answered:
I already gave this story idea to another person but it will fit your bill too, so here it is:Write about a trickster (or grinch or something) who goes to the storage place where the family keeps the Christmas tree decorations that they hang on their tree. Then have the trickster gather up the balls that go with the croquet set and paint them to resemble Christmas tree ornaments. Have the trickster screw little eye-screws in to the heavy croquet balls and insert the little hooks into the eye-screws to give them a used before look. Then have the trickster set up his video camera to record his mom and sister decorating the tree with the extremely heavy croquet ball decorations and how much the balls make the tree limbs sag, the looks of disappointment on mom and sisters face, etc.
