Book Writing Tips

Book writing tips?We Answered:
This is probably the best advice I've found anywhere:1. Read. All the time read.
2. Try not to think about "the big picture" of completing a longer work like a novel - the prospect can be overwhelming. Try to pace yourself one chapter or story at a time, so that all the smaller goals can be achieved, and eventually result in a bigger one.
3. Go to an isolated place like a library where you can write without distraction - no TV, no phone, no Internet.
4. Promise yourself when you go that isolated place you will write at least 500 words, even if those words are "I don't know what to write" over and over. Almost certainly, the mere act of the typing will turn into the act of storytelling.
5. It is okay to bang your head against your wall/computer/wrist, etc. in complete frustration. Just please be careful. Then go back to trying, trying, trying.
6. Read more.
Number 2 especially is a big one because that's the one that usually gets me hung up.
Good luck!

G'day Yanksbubbacever,Thank you for your question.
It depends on your material as to which format best suits it. I would sit down and plan it out and that will tell you which your novel will work best as.
As for the length, it depends on the material. However, the books in the Harr Potter series have grown progressively longer without losing effectiveness. The length will depend on how long you can write a story including the things you need and want to include without it seeming forced.
I have attached possible sites on writing books.

I need book writing tips please.?We Answered:
I personally like being very descriptive, so this should be easy for me to explain. When you are describing places, try to give the overall look and feel of the place. Example: The fairy realm had many green, open fields. Then you can get more descriptive: Flowers covered almost every surface. There was a huge waterfall off in the distance; the water came crashing down from it, and yet the stream it was leading into was peaceful and calm. Fairies flew gracefully over the open fields and some lingered by the waterfall.
Overall paragraph: The fairy realm had many green, open fields. Flowers covered almost every surface. There was a huge waterfall off in the distance; the water came crashing down from it, and yet the stream it was leading into was peaceful and calm. Fairies flew gracefully over the open fields and some lingered by the waterfall.
Sorry if my description isn't what an actual fairy realm looks like; I'm not that familiar with them.
You can either try to visualize a place and then try to describe it as best as you can. Or you can start making up the place bit by bit. Try not to get too descriptive or else the reader may get confused and forget what they are reading about.
Writing speed is almost impossible to change. Whenever you get an idea, you should jot it down or write, otherweis you might forget it. You should probably try to finish all the tasks you have to do that day, and then sit down and designate a certain amount of time to write. Then you might have more time to write. Also try to have a goal, like try to write 1,000 words a day- more or less depending on how you feel.
Hope I helped!
