writing prompts!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!…We Answered:
If you love writing, then you should learn the *craft* of writing. Most people know how to write. Most of us do it almost every day. But most of us aren't skilled in the *craft* of writing. Most people can sit at a keyboard and string letters together that make some sort of sense. But that isn't the *craft* of writing, that's just basic communication.Look at your post here:
fact: i love writing.
No....if you loved writing, you would write:
Fact: I love writing.
Picking the first sentence from one of your blog posts:
"whens the last time i blogged?"
How about:
"When's the last time I blogged?"
When you start a sentence with whens, I wince. And so do your readers (even if only subconsciously). Your first sentence in any post needs to make a positive impression. Yours make a negative impression.
Work on mastering the *craft* of writing, then worry about what you are going to write about.
PS: Please don't take this post as mean spirited. It's not meant to be. It's just brutally honest ;-)
ETA: Ok, read your first post. Yawn...so basically you love writing, but you don't want to bother to learn how to write, but you want us to tell you what to write about. okfine write whtever u want. Yur friends may or may not like reeding it.
