Black History Writing Prompts

Tanya Said:

Need help writing history story!?

We Answered:

Well, the prompt doesn't say what became of the father, merely that he left to join the Federal army. I think that right there is an idea spark. Try to find him, possibly heading north with the mother and baby sister during the attempt. He could have died before he even got through, or he could have succeed but died either in camp or in battle. But there seems to be some hope in the idea that he might still be alive.

ap european history essay helpp!!?

We Answered:

In other words,

The Plague caused a lot of negative consequences for the Europeans (ie. wiping out millions of people)

However, the Plague did have some positive consequences. List the social, economic and psychological benefits of the plague (how did the plague help European society)

This link has a very good description of some of the negative and positive consequences of the Plague. http://www.feltonfleet.co.uk/departments…

I would add to the weakening of the Christian church section that the plague was the catalyst of the Reformation because people lost hope in the Catholic church.

What are some ways that America has benifited from integrading cutlures?

We Answered:

Hi Trini, This is a big question. There's an election soon and immigration issues are one of the biggest. Now, if your specifically talking about Afro-Americans, let's remember that they didn't want to come here. While here though, their presence was what brought us into the industrial revolution. Maybe that's a good place to start. "The Black Influence on the American Revolution". Hope you get an "A"!
