I mean, that issue seems to not be stressed enouph with all the std rates rising and teen pregnancies. Maybe the good brother waits to have sex, but the bad brother does not. Your prompt is one sided. The use of the word 'benifit' leads the respondent into one particular argument - that the counterculture was good for American social values. I would use 'impact' or 'alter' instead.

You also limit the response to the social effects of the counterculture, which was only a small part of its impact. You should open it to the political effects as well or changes 'social values' to 'society'

The first source is Abby Hoffman's ''Brillo Speech", an example of the radical impact of the counterculture.

The second source is Nixon's nomination acceptance speech where 'silent majority' is introduced as a main stream idea.
