#1 Discrimination took place because I was a black female in a upscale department store.
#2 I went into the department store to do some spring clothes shopping. As usual the clerks immediatly didn't asked if I needed assistance, they just followed me around the whole time. When I tried on my outfits, they were spying outside of the dressing room door to see if I stole anything. I went to the clerk to ask if they had some sandles in another size, they clerk acted as if she didn't see or hear me. She rolled her eyes and walked away. I kept my cool & rung up my items at another desk.

#5 I did nothing. Complants to her supervisor wouldn't matter. No need for police. Just got poor customer service.

My post might not help. Basically i'm a well educated black female, that came from a good background & family. Whenever I go somewhere what i accomplished don't matter. People use stereotypes & discrimination automatically. Some assume all blacks may be lazy, or have attitudes etc. I'm 26 and I wonder what it was like 30-100 years ago. Gl with your report.
