8th Grade Writing Prompt
Michael Said:
Nervous about an academy interview? We Answered:
show that you are confident by sitting up straight and looking the other person in the eyes. I know this is very scary but it shows confidence. answer any questions completely and to the full extent, but try not to go into irrelivent details. Don't make them probe you for the information. For nervousness or shyness, the only thing I could say is to practice answers to possible questions tonight. You can have someone in your family help you with it. But other than that I cant really say anything else to help you that I know of.
Now for what not to do: do not ramble on. Answer questions directly. Do not interrupt. Have common sense and use good manners. Don't try to talk to quickly or to slowly. Talking quickly will cause you to stutter and slur words more and talking to slowly may make them think you are slightly incomitent. Oh, and don't spend half the night worrying about it or you will have raccoon eyes tomorrow, which is not pretty. (you may need to relax by reading or music, or even meditating before you attempt sleeping) Make yourself look nice and professional, but don't dress too fancy or they will think you are showing off (this means not too much cleavage or makeup and jewelry, but a bracelet and/or a simple necklace is fine if you wish)
I hope you get in to this acadamy! Break a leg! :)

What do you think of my essay, and how should I end it?We Answered:
Wow, very good. That's way better then I could have done in 9th grade. But imo if you took out "tribulations" it would make it seem more like it was human written rather then trying to show everyone that you know big words.
But I still give it a 5/5

I need to write a paper on the Catcher in the Rye. I have a prompt, but i dont understant. Help me please? We Answered:
he looks for innocence he does not want a full blown relationship like even when he had the prostitute in his room he just wanted to talk so this ties back to his personality because he is scared to lose his innocence and he is fighting to keep itKirk Said:
Can someone help me with this essay? We Answered:
um, sweetie, this is an opinionated prompt, meaning that the teacher or whoever is assigning this wants to know what YOU think. i dont know if we here on yahoo answers can provide much insight to how you would feel in this situation. all you have to do is put your thoughts into a what-would-i-do organization and write to your hearts content. sorry to hear that you're stressed out, but good luck on your assignments!
