Is Montana a good place to raise a family?

We Answered:

I've only been to Montana for a vacation. I went with a friend who has family there. I had a great time. I also went to college with some people from Montana and they were great as well. I was in Helena while I was there. Crowding is not a problem in Montana, at least where I was most of the time. No state sales tax, at least when I was there (2005). I think it'd be a great place to live. The weather is one thing to consider, I love winter weather, but if you don't like that then you might want to consider a different state.

freelance jobs in Orlando area?

We Answered:

If you want to make money online and wanted to work from home, go for freelancing jobs. They are only one, that will pay you and its free to become a freelancer. The Internet has opened up many freelance opportunities, expanding markets and helping to build it into one of the largest economic segments for many economies. You dont need to pay to get the job. Development for freelancing has been especially high for software development, website design, information technology, and business documentation. Freelance practice varies greatly. Some require clients to sign written contracts<!--while others may perform work based on verbal agreements, perhaps enforceable through the very nature of the work. Some freelancers may provide written estimates of work and request deposits from clients. Get more information on the website. You can almost find any freelance job you want.

Payment for freelance work also varies greatly. Freelancers may charge by the day or hour, or on a per-project basis. Instead of a flat rate or fee, some consultants have adopted a value-based pricing method-->based on the perceived value of the results to the client. By custom, payment arrangements may be upfront, percentage upfront, or upon completion. For more complex projects, a contract may set a payment schedule based on milestones or outcomes.

Which city is better for communication jobs: Orlando or Tampa?

We Answered:

The best place is where you get the job first. Crime is rapidly rising in the Orlando area, and with the recession gaining steam, it may be best to avoid it unless you get a job before moving here. It's really not a great big city. I laughed about my 2nd cousin comparing it to NYC. I'm looking at moving to the Dallas/FtWorth area.. bigger city than Orlando. Local politics, attitudes, crime, and lack of job have been repulsing me here. The unemployment rates here are higher than the national average.
Later:
I know how expensive NYC can be, but workwise it may still be your best choice. Plus the cost of living, crime rate, and quality of living (though not the weather) may be a better choice for now than Orlando. When you see low apartment rates here, the area is usually crime-ridden or packed with immigrants. If my mom lived, my next move was from the end of LI to upstate NY..perhaps the Poughkeepsie area. I was never a big fan of upstaters, but I figured that the rents were lower. You might learn some of the PATH train routes into the city (which I never did) and look for inexpensive rents along those routes upstate.
For communications, NYC is where it's at.
