Writing Jobs Ireland

Willie Said:

What jobs are there involving Irish mythology, folklore, literature and music?

We Answered:

I think a irish historian would be the best Carrier for you.

Hector Said:

Pursuing a writing career in Ireland?

We Answered:

Well there one job you won't be able to do in Ireland is teach. Irish is compulsory in schools there.

Joshua Said:

the job was in ireland not in london the agency job centrum was based in london , is it a legal agency/?

We Answered:

There is NO recruitment agency in London called Centrum Jobs. It does not exist. What sort of recruitment agency would not have a listing with directory enquiries?? How would any employers or employees find them if they don't even have a listed phone number? It's also not listed with Companies House, the UK government business registry http://wck2.companieshouse.gov.uk/ee46a8…
type their name in the box that says Company Name and you'll see they do not exist as a legally registered company in the UK

There is NO such thing as a 'work permit form for a non-European national' (it's called a New Employment Permit in Ireland, which you can download for free from the Irish government site http://www.deti.ie/labour/workpermits/ep… and no such thing as a 'euro pass CV' These are not official documents and do not exist. There is NO such thing as an "online" interview for any legitimate job - any company employing foreign workers is required by law to interview them IN PERSON before they can offer any employment. If you were not flown to Ireland for an interview, or did not interview IN PERSON at their recruitment office in YOUR country, then you know it is not for real

There are pretty much work permits available for Ireland. Have you not seen any news recently? The Irish economy has collapsed, unemployment has been over 14% for months, and there is NO way any company could prove that they advertised a job for 8 weeks and NOT ONE Irish or other EU citizen applied for a job. And if you don't have a Masters or PhD then you have NO chance of getting any sort of job in Europe

Anyone online promising you jobs and asking for money is scamming you. It's illegal for any company to charge any fees to job seekers - the employers pay

Want to prove this is a scam - tell them that you will be in London in 2 weeks visiting family for Christmas and will come to their office then to interview and fill out all paperwork, then you can go to Ireland to meet the employer there. I'd love to see what excuses they come up with - because there is NO job, it's just a con to get you to send money

Here's what the Irish government has to say about work permits for foreigners
"Work permit applications from recruitment agencies and other intermediaries are not acceptable under the scheme."-- meaning only YOU can apply for a job directly, not through an agency. So any agency asking you to complete a work permit application cannot be for real as the government even says the application will not be accepted. So you are sending money and they know that the application will not be approved.

"A new application for a work permit must be accompanied by documentary evidence that a labour market needs test has been carried out. From 1 June 2009 the test requires that the vacancy must have been advertised with the FÁS/EURES employment network for 8 weeks (previously 4 weeks) and in local and national newspapers for 6 days (previously 3 days). This is to ensure that, in the first instance an EEA or Swiss national or in the second instance, a Bulgarian or Romanian national cannot be found to fill the vacancy. " -- unless you are a Nobel Prize winning physicist, I can't think of any other job that could be advertised for 8 weeks across Europe and not one qualified European citizen applied
http://www.citizensinformation.ie/en/emp…

And read all of these jobs that DO NOT qualify for any sort of work permit http://www.deti.ie/labour/workpermits/el… -- what type of job were they supposedly offering you? I'm sure it's something on that list

Remember, NEVER EVER EVER send money to any recruitment agency for any reason. if just 1000 people fall for this, they just made 32,000 euro all for posting a few ads on free job sites

Keith Said:

is there a legal way for me to work at overseas like UK, Australia Or Ireland?

We Answered:

If you want to live in Ireland you need to earn more than RM1600 to RM1900per month. Thats only €320-380, which isnt enough to live on in Ireland.

You will need to get a work permit,
http://www.entemp.ie/publications/labour…

The job you get has to pay more than €30,000 a year, Im not sure how hard that will be since I have no idea the average pay of a photographer. You need to find the job before you apply for the permit. You dont need a visa you only need the work permit.

It could be harder to get into Australia and the UK because they both have a points system based on your education level.

For the UK you can use this to work out if you have enough points
http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/points…

Australia is similar

Lisbon Treaty... Again! (Europe’s hidden agenda) Ireland Vote NO!?

We Answered:

It's funny how you say we will get no imput into what goes on within the EU yet you make out that bringing in abortion is a bad thing. Yet if we keep the no abortion rule, people who wish to have abortions have no say. It's their choice not yours not mine and certanly not the governments so why not bring it in.
This president that will be elected to speak for us in the lisbon keeps us informed with the changes, they become the voice of the people and the government. One is elected from each country. If they were doing a bad job at being the voice of Ireland I'm sure our president or the government with over rule the one we elect and a new spokesperson will be elected.
1. Lisbon Promotes our Values:
Article 2 states: "The EU is founded on the values of respect for human dignity, freedom, democracy, equality, the rule of law and respect for human rights, including the rights of persons belonging to minorities. These values are common to the Member States in a Society in which pluralism, non-discrimination, tolerance, justice, solidarity and equality between women and men prevail."
Article 3 (5) states: "In its relations with the wider world the Union shall uphold and promote its values and interests and contribute to the protection of its citizens. It shall contribute to peace, security, the sustainable development of the earth, solidarity and mutual respect among peoples, free and fair trade, eradication of poverty and the protection of human rights, in particular, the rights of the child as well as the strict observance and the development of international law, including respect for the principles of the United Nations Charter".
2. Lisbon Strengthens Social Rights
The Charter of Fundamental Rights contains the body of civil, political, social and economic rights agreed by the EU in 2000. The emphasis on economic and social rights, including workers' rights, is unique. At present the Charter has the status only of a declaration but when the Lisbon Reform Treaty is ratified it will be binding in Law.
3. Lisbon Respects Ireland's Neutrality
The Lisbon Reform Treaty does not alter Ireland's neutrality in any way. Under the Common Foreign and Security Policy all EU civil and military missions must be first agreed by all Member States and must be in accordance with the United Nations Charter. Ireland's proud record of participation in missions abroad under the UN mandate to places of conflict such as Kosovo, the Lebanon and, most recently, Chad will continue as before
4. Lisbon Deepens the rights of Citizens
Under Article 8 "every national of a Member State shall be a citizen of the Union. Citizenship of the Union shall be additional to national citizenship and shall not replace it".
Article 8(b)4 states: "Not less than one million citizens who are nationals of a significant number of Member States may table the initiative of inviting the Commission, within the framework of its powers, to submit any appropriate proposal on matters where citizens consider that a legal act of the Union is required for the purpose of implementing the Treaties".
Thus the Lisbon Treaty provides any citizen or group of citizens with an independent mechanism for placing an issue on the EU Agenda.
