On the other hand, if you still want to work for someone else...go to AWAIonline.com They have a board.You can list your services--bid for assignments.

You could get a writing job with a local paper or something similar, but most places hire graduates/experienced folk to do the actual writing. I think your best option would be to head somewhere like Warrior Forum, and offer you're writing services for a fixed price.

There's a lot of folk making a lot of money on the internet, and Internet marketers are always need fresh new quality content to post on their sites. If you made a good post in the warriors for hire section, over at warrior forum (this costs around $20), explaining you're position, i'm sure you'd get plenty of work.

A decent rate would be $10 per 500 word article.

Not sure if that's what you'd be into, but coming from the inside, it'd definitely be the way i'd go about it.
