No, you will not have a problem (disegard what the others said).

The fact is, people will always see you as (a non-Eastern) European, and you will find that not only do they NOT have a problem with this group of people, they are highly interested and intrigued by this. They will ask about your country, tell you they've been to Europe (even if where they've been is absolutely nothing like or nowhere near Finland), ask you questions about your country, and if they have any trace of Finnish blood, they will tell you that too.

You are coming here not to move away from a third world country, but as a professional seeking work, which means you are in an ENTIRELY different category than what most people think of as an "immigrant". People will see you as a "comic artist" rather than an "immigrant". As such there is no reason anyone has to know, or will even ask, what your immigration status is.

As long as you don't have a problem with North Americans and North America, they will not have a problem with you. The Finnish and North American cultures are compatible enough that the differences will not affect your acceptance here.
