Writing Jobs In Nyc

Juan Said:

Can you help me gather info that may help me make the decision between continuing or aborting my pregnancy?

We Answered:

If you're established and have everything yu ever dreamed of I dont understand why you would abort. Especially since you've been wanting to be a mom for so long. To me it just sounds like you're not done partying and growing up and you shoulda thought about that before having unprotected sex.
The first few weeks of pregnancy are always confusing and scary. You just don't know what to do and what to expect but I assure you as time goes on it becomes more and more significant that it is an amazing feeling to be pregnant. I'm pro-choice, I believe that women have the choice to do whatever they want to do with their bodies. I also believe only time a woman should have an abortion is if rape or incest occurs. Think about this thoroughly and carefully. Good luck.

Charlotte Said:

What type of jobs in music?

We Answered:

Believe it or not, there are lots of jobs in the music business without needing to know a lot about music.

For example, all music industries such as record companies, recording studios, etc need non-musical employees.

For example, on the most basic level, they all need cleaners, accountants, secretaries, phone operators, general office assistants and personal assistants to name just a few of the options. None of these things require any particular musical knowledge. They are general jobs within the music field.

Now i know this isn't probably what you had in mind, but hold on. All of these things will give you valuable knowledge in the industry, contacts and experience. Many of the great music producers and executives started out doing grunt work.

In addition to this, there are many jobs which require some knowledge, but not specific music knowledge. You could, for example, try getting a job as a radio producer, or researcher. You could work as a technician at a radio station or recording studio or you could work as a talent scout for a record company etc. You would need to do some training in all of these things, but don't need to be "musical".

Finally you could also find a local band and set yourself up as their manager or roadie. I know you said you didn't want to travel, but you wouldn't have to until they make it big, at which point, travelling with a Rock Stars may not seem such a bad deal after all.
