We Answered:

R.V.College of engineering is one of the good college in Karnataka.Placements are also decent but not comparable to NIT's or BITS
Effort put in to get in to IIT's, Bits or NIT's is really worth.
You can think of Mechanical /Electronics engineering as the branch instead if IE.
You can think of the below options after graduation
1. Take up a job if you have to,
2.Go for MTech / ME if you are interested in further studies.
3. Go for MBA if you get admission in top top ''B '' schools only.
