Writing Jobs For Kids

Does anyone know of any writing competitions for kids?We Answered:
Nothing that I can think of offhand. Try this link out! I have no idea, I'd just look for sites like that one, or look in the phone book to see, I am sure someone would be interested. Good luck!http://www.teenink.com/Resources/Contest…

Hard to write with a full time life, kids, job, fiance....?We Answered:
I make a grid of my week, the columns are days and the rows are hours of the day. I put an X through every time block I am doing something necessary like work, sleep, eat, time with kid, etc... Any open spaces left I try to write at least 1000 words in that hour. If you even just find one hour a day you can complete a 60k word first draft in two months. The goal is to write something everyday and make that time sacred by letting everyone know that's your time.Antonio Said:
Are there any writing jobs for kids where you can make money??????We Answered:
If you are good at writing there are lots of places to sell articles in the 500 words and up range. Articles are wanted by hundreds of internet marketers including myself. One place you can sell them is at Associated Content. You can advertise that you will do writing on some of the internet marketing forums. Google them and you will find many.Send me a sample of your writing, I will buy them myself if the price is right, lol. There is a contact page on the site below to email me.

I need suggestions for how to get writing done with a full time job and 3 kids.?We Answered:
Your number is legion. Most of the women I know who write have faced or currently face similar demands on their time. They do all sorts of things to carve out chunks of writing time.
--Make an agreement with your husband/partner for "me time" in exchange for the same. He does all the child tending and whatever else needs doing during a set time, including keeping the kids away from you, in exchange for the same. Either of you can use the time however you like, including leaving the house, so long as you return on time.
--Enroll the kids in story hour and other simple age-appropriate programs at the library. During that time, write.
--Make judicious use of the TV. Record their favorite shows, rent DVDs, and park everybody in front of the screen when you want to write. Don't do this so much they're watching an inappropriate amount, of course.
--Take your lunch break at work no matter what, and find a quiet place to eat and write at the same time.
--Get up earlier. I know, I know, it sounds just awful, but I have a friend who writes from 5:30 to 6:15 weekday mornings, before anybody's up. She has the energy then that is gone by the time the kids go to bed. She completes novels.
And above all, remember that this stage of their lives ends faster than you think it will. Being a good parent probably outweighs the need to finish that novel *now*. They'll need you less, even when they're home, in less time than you'd think.
