I want to say I saw his performance and was not impressed with him. He has a lot of growing up to do and will learn it takes more than enthusiasm to succeed.

Universities will only accept AS levels along side at least 2 full A levels. You can do other courses that equal to A levels. You will have to check out what your local college has to offer.
