I'm sorry to hear of your rough start. But honestly I think you might be over educated for an executive assistant position. This is usually a community college program where they stress SIMPLE tasks like using Office 07. I too have a collection of degrees. They say that people in the gen x and gen y will go through between 5- 10 careers before they retire so don't get down with your lack of fulfillment. I am however concerned about your ability to keep a job, you need to show that you can keep it and stick with the company. Also I want to caution you with providing your private information on this site, being open about your past and triumphs is great but strangers and potential employers probably don't want to hear about it...unfortunately, it can lead to preconceived notions about your abilities etc. Unfortunately, until you land in your dream position I would hold your cards closer to your chest and focus on your abilities.

I agree that you perhaps should find someone to talk to about your issues... your ideas about "intelligent men and women" is interesting and probably hindering your employability

So you have no programming ability, but want someone to pay you to play video games at home, which you are obviously always doing anyway. Just think about what you are asking,the game makers would have nerds standing in line to play soon to be released games for free, so why would they pay anyone.

There is a pattern here. You should go to a psychologist and take care of the trauma you've sustained during your childhood. I had a co worker that had the same problem. He kept getting fired from his job and somehow kept making enemies everywhere he went, even when he was trying to be nice.
You have issues you have to sort out. It doesn't make you a bad person nor is there anything wrong with you. But you do have to reflect on your past and learn to leave it behind you. And I think a psychologist is the best way to do it right.
