Try submitting some freelance work to keep you afloat and to let people know your skills. Do you have any experience? If not, contact publishers for an editorial assistant job and get out the yellow pages and call magazines for a trainee job. One area a lot of people get started in is working for an inhouse publication for a large employer or for a specific trade like a magazine devoted to food service companies.

I agree with the concept. However, I also think it is acceptable for a politician to express their faith openly. Some people seem to think that they have a right not to be exposed to any religion which they do not subscribe to. No such right exists. You are protected in the right to freely embrace and practice your chosen religion and from the government favoring any one religion over another.

I like the idea of the goalie having to stay in his crease to freeze the puck. They can come out to cut the angle but, if they freeze the puck outside the crease it's delay of game. This should keep the play moving and lead to a few extra goals.
Make the net bigger? (The league was a good 40 years old before Plante discovered all the nets weren't the same size to begin with.) Nope, let's leave it the same but, cut down on the oversized equipment being used and stop them freezing the puck outside their crease.
