Resume writing: what would you enter in the company name's field for independent consulting jobs?We Answered:
Put self employed and the dates on the resume, and make up a seperate client list with those dates and scope of your work. Note on the resume that the client list is available.Melvin Said:
writing resume w/o experience, previous jobs, volunteering.etc? We Answered:
Yes put down any experience with kids. As for a day care assitant, they will most likely not hire you because they want experiencce with kids and usually an ECE education (Early child hood development) they cant let just anyone raise and care for kids. (Im becoming a teacher and its very hard to get a job working with kids with no experience or training)But the boutique shouldnt matter if you work with kids or not because its retail and thats all about SALES.
Therefore on your resume say your eager to learn and love sales blabla, generate the direction of your resume towards WHAT ur applying for.
If your applying at many retail outlets include your great with
people, can multi task, will love to help ppl find product/merchandise (in other words u WANT to sell). Retail stores pay minimum wage so they can't have very many demands from their employees.
Show that ur hard working and dedicated. It doesn't help you dont have any job experience at 19!! but apply anyways b/c its retail and u hardly ever get turned away.

I'm writing a resume and I was a cashier at one of my jobs; how would I phrase the description of my job?We Answered:
handled and ensured proper cash transactionsRicardo Said:
Do you include insignificant jobs in a resume? We Answered:
I was in the same position as you, having a bunch of insignificant jobs. I don't include them in my resume. I wouldn't include them if I were you because it will be like you don't show stability with your jobs and you wouldn't want to give that impression to employers.
