No such animal! You and a gazillion others are food for vultures with all these scams out there. You, like everyone else who has posted this same question, already attracted a bunch of conartists.

There are basically 2 ways to work from home:
1. Telecommute for your current employer, if the type of work you do can be done (at least part of the time) from home.
2. Start your own business. How's your typing/keyboarding speed and accuracy? Know proper formats for dissertations, theses, term papers and other types of manuscripts? You would have to start your own biz, and advertise your services. Good typists can get up to $2/page (occasionally more for very technical material, equations, symbols, charts, graphs, etc), but you must be fast to do enough to earn $10-20/hr, and accurate! Experience as an accountant, etc? See if small businesses have a need for a bookkeeper on a weekly or monthly basis. Lots of competition in accounting! What can you do? Need time, money to invest in your biz, skills, education, experience, expertise, marketing skills, etc.

If you are an accomplished typist - word processor and have recently visited your local city college or university librarian, you can apply as a "certified" graduate typist, earning between $1.50 to $2.00 per page for a master or doctoral thesis. The librarian will provide you with a sample of the typing template (i.e., margin settings, font selection, page set up, etc.) in order to complete these projects. An average weekend income is about $300-$400 for two days work.

Yes have him get in touch with the local newspaper and ask them if he can do some freelance writing for them. Also, contact the local community colleges he may be able to teach at the college part time. Possibilities are endless there, he could look into writing childrens books and Readers Digest will pay for short articles/stories as will other magazines. Take Care and Good Luck, also contact advertising agencies he may be able to get work writing little advertising jingles and I did see someplace online where you can do just that and they make good money. Thought about it myself.
