Edward Said:

Iam a medical biller. i need part time job......?

We Answered:

you can try working the opposite. Try working for a medical insurance company. you have some experience so it would be easy for you to get a job with one. I work for one and its great money with lots of opportunity for advancement.

Wade Said:

can i write off my medical bills?

We Answered:

Yes. If you ITEMIZE deductions, you can deduct medical expenses that EXCEED 7.5% of adjusted gross income (or line 31 of Form 1040).

For example: If your AGI is $50,000 and you have medical expenses of $5,000, then 7.5% of AGI is $3,750. You can deduct $1,250 of medical expenses.

Maureen Said:

Sharon Said:

hired full time then given part time hours..?

We Answered:

Not every hospital in Unionized. The person above is wrong. Sad to say but they can shorten your hours. I know how you feel, just in the last three weeks my hours have been cut, as well. I'm working only 28 hours this week. The way I've been boosting it up close to 40 hours is by being on-call, and that sucks. You might try going above your department manager and seeing if there is any way you can stay as a full time employee. Good luck.

Billy Said:

What full-time jobs would I be qualified for?

We Answered:

I am not sure what area of the country you are in, but you can go to a big city like New York or Philadelphia and join the Teaching Fellows. They will pay for your Masters degree in education, you can begin working right away.
Being all over the place makes you ideal for being an elementary school teacher or a special education teacher. An inner city school district would love to have you, and with your background, you would bring a lot to the table. Kids LOVE teachers with personality. Teach social skills, some science through baking, literacy through languages, use your museum skills to teach history.
My wife did it, and I have teaching experience, also. Inner city kids love teachers who actually care for them.
