I don't know how advanced this is supposed to be, but usually in formal essays "you" avoid first and second person. Also, it's probably wise to cite your sources within your paper. Search for "in-text citations" or something similar to learn how to do it. And unless it's been required, title headings aren't nice. Use transitons at the begininng or end of your paragraphs instead.

If you are looking for basic stuff on sites explaining detail just contact some big sites and see if they will give you contacts. If you want to do publishing as in such a online book club or such, then the same go on those types of sites and get contacts. Basically you need to know how to get contact info and use communication. It's worth the try to get the job you want.

It sounds like you are a sports junkie. There are ways that you can turn it into a job, but you are going to need more schooling in the journalism field. You will have to learn how to write sports stories for newspapers and learn how to call plays if you hope to get a tv or radio job.
