Hugh Said:

Has Steve jobs completely lost his mind?

We Answered:

Not only has Jobs lost his mind, but it's the mistake of all mistakes to pre-load Vista (of any version) onto a Mac, and then make OS X optional. While Vista may support Mac hardware, there's some things that should be left alone. Do we really need Gates and Balmer laughing any harder on the way to the bank?

How do I stop feeling so...hopeless?

We Answered:

These days it's extremely difficult to find a job as a recent graduate - HS OR any other field -.

These are some pointers that you should keep in mind when going for an interview and writing your resume:

JOB INTERVIEW:

An employer wants to hire someone who is positive, a team player and fast learner. At the interview always smile and say that even though you don't have enough experience you're willing to get trained and are a fast learner. You're motivated and like to be a team player. You could be a great asses to the company.

If your previous job as a bookkeeper is mentioned say that you were young and still in HS and that the demands were too much, so you opted for an education instead.

For the interview, dress professionally and act like you understand what they're saying. Asnwer questions directly. Avoinf using the work "like" too much.

Always say that you're can start right away and have reliable transportation.

Going for an interview is scary and stressful, but act relaxed and pretend you're comfortable.

You should always have a convincing answer to all questions in the interbview, but saying, "I'm not familiar with that" is OK too.

RESUME:

Include your HS graduation date. At the beginning of the resume include a "summary of qualificatioons" that should include being a fast learner, positive atticude, team player, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, proficient in accounting, fluent in (languages) if you are. Write down any skill that think would be good at the job.

Don't include the job as a bookkeeper because they won't give you a good reference if needed.

In a resume, you have to seel the best of yourself. If the employer doesn't like your resume he won't call you for an interview or hire you.

Include : references available upon request in your resume, but if they ask about them have at least three names that can say that you're honorable and responsible.

To be less defensive, take it with a grain of salt. To be honest, emplores like people who take critisms in apositive way and don't get mad or cry. You can say that you're willing to learn and have a positive attitude. If they criticiz you say, "thanks, I will do that next time" or "It won't happen again".

References that you could get are from your teachers in school or any other adult that is not related to you.
