I am taking a bachelor in Nutrition, but have a GED instead of High-school Diploma..?

GED is the equivalent of a high school diploma. but because of your field, your college education is what they will be interested in more than your high school.

Henry Said:

Cool jobs in Portland, OR?

We Answered:

This is how i decided what to go to grad school for:

I went to www.craigslist.org
click on your city/state on the right hand side
then go to jobs
click on the various postings (I looked a lot in the non-profit and education sections) and see what their requirements are (e.g. bachelors degree, min. 2 years experience, etc)

you would be surprised how many cool jobs are out there!

And goodluck to you!

Patsy Said:

what are jobs that pay well and don't require too many years of schooling?

We Answered:

Good paying jobs that don't require much if any school after high school include plumber, electrician, and real estate agent if you're good at it. If you want to go to college, the best paying 4-year degrees are in engineering, economics, physics, and computer science. Dermatology is 8 years of college and 5 more of residency. You can become a nutritionist or a clinical lab scientist in college in 4 years; those pay OK.

We Answered:

Melanie - perhaps you have not seen the evening news, or read a paper lately, but there are millions of people out of work and the #'s grow by the week...not enough openings for everyone...you will have to get what you can and not be concerned about a "high paying" job right now...sorry :{
