You can be a freelancer, but thats hard work. As for jobs maybe advertising, the creative department would work for you. A photography studio, or working at a media house that does everything in house.

Or you can work within media and do some painting and drawing on your own time;)

Ultimately, your degree won't matter in this field.

I started in advertising, writing copy for websites. It wasn't long after that, that I was writing and producing commercials. I mention this because my degree is in Information Technology, neither related to writing, nor advertising. It was my natural talents that got me where I needed to be.

If you want to break in, write as much as you can and submit queries to as many people as you can. Do not send your work without asking them if it would be okay. Outside of that, just try to network with as many people as you can and be as vocal as you can about your goals and aspirations.
