Job In Writing
Marshall Said:
Can you get a job writing verses for cards? We Answered:
If you approach the large companies who produce the cards you will find out what qualifications are required to do this work. You can find out their address and send them a letter outlining your interest to work with their organisation. Perhaps attach a sample of poems you have written and follow up with a telephone call about a week later.Good luck, I hope that you find the work you are looking for. It sounds like something that will be very rewarding for you.

Where can I get a job writing movie reviews? We Answered:
There are lots of sites that you can post movie comments or reviews in a blog format but if you want to use this for your portfolio then MatchFlick.com is the best place to do that. You can create a writer account and it logs all of your reviews in a personal database so that you retain credit for your writings forever.Lester Said:

What kind of writing sample should I submit for this job?We Answered:
It's difficult to say what employers are looking for in a sample. If you're totally uncertain, perhaps a phone call to the company wouldn't be a bad idea. You may not have written a biography, but maybe you have a piece of writing that describes someone. Supply them with the best approximation.Don't make something up. It's much better to provide them with an example of something you've already created from your profession as a writer, something you can say "this was featured in so-and-so publication, and I can explain why I wrote it, and wrote it the way I did."

How do you get a job writing for television shows? We Answered:
Write, allot. Typically you have to have examples of your work to get work in the entertainment industry. In order to find your niche in TV you should think about trying to write an episode about any show on TV that interests you. Having diverse talents ups your chances of working. While doing this you typically have to find an agent to help pitch your work. You have to also put out the effort to talk to producers
and directors and execs by establishing contact and keeping contact with them.
You want to make sure anything you write is copy written. There are several books out there on writing and pitching screen plays for television and they can tell you quite a bit more than I, but remember every book you read about the subject is typically by someone who made it happen and their thoughts can be very valuable.
The way I see it success in showbiz requires the following: hard work, connections, luck and a tiny bit of talent.
Be ready for disapointment, rejection and doors slammed in your face. If you can't handle the chase at the early stages don't even try.
