How do I write my first CV?We Answered:
Your CV MUST contain the following information:-Personal Details - Name, Address and Date of Birth (this is ESSENTIAL).
Education - Name and FULL postal address of EVERY school, college and University you have attended since the age of 11. The Dates you were there. EVERY exam and grade (no matter how bad) you have taken.
Employment - Name and FULL postal address of EVERY company you have worked (even if it was just part time). Dates you were there. Title of the job you had and a brief description of what you did.
Hobbies/Other Information - Any Computer Packages you know how to use.
Referees - The names and postal addresses of 2 people you are NOT related to in any way (previous employers, head teacher, doctor, friend of the family).
Do NOT put an objective/aim/what you want to achieve on your CV as it will go straight in the rubbish bin - put such information on your covering letter.

Suggestions on how to write a good first CV?We Answered:
Don't do a cover page because they will think its unprofessional. The first thing that goes on the resume is ur contact details e.g. name, address, phone no., email.Secondly, maybe say whats ur career objective. That will interest them the most.
Thirdly, ur work skills summary in bullet point form
Fourthly, Work details (which places u worked for and what did u do in that particular position e.g. answering telephone calls, etc).
Fifthly, Educational qualifications.
Sixthly, personal qualities, then comes the hobbies/interests, and finally, ur work referees.
You will sound professional and u'll never know, u might get the job that ur lookin for, it just takes time. Good luck!
